Daniel Šperl
He was born in Tábor in 1966. During his studies of photography in Prague he made two educational stays in France and in Japan.
His interests are mainly in black-and-white documentary photography, especially accenting the magic of common everyday life. He has taken part in many colective exhibitions and has held a number of his own exhibitions. His first book BORDERLESS was published in 2001. The book is compiled of shots depicting mentally disadvantaged people in hospitals and asylums. He has been working on the topic since 1996.
