Miroslav Hucek was born in 1934 in Malacky. He began to photograph in his 19 years. In 1957 he began to study FAMU but after one year he left his studium and began to work with weekly journal „Mladý svìt“.
In his freelance photography he is concerned with long-term documentary projects. He had a large number of one man shows and took part in many group exhibitions. He published several photographic books.
His photographs are in many important public and private collections all over the world.
