The photographer Tereza z Davle is represented by Leica Gallery Prague.
She was born on 26 July 1975 in Hořice. She spent her childhood and photographic beginnings in Davle near Prague, now she lives in Český Krumlov. She studies the University of Business in Prague.
She has been pursuing photography since 1996. In photography, she is an autodidact, she learns from books, and from her colleagues mainly through her own work. Perfect technique is neither her aim nor a means of expression. On the contrary, in imperfection she can see greater magic and possibility to capture the authentic atmosphere. She follows figurative photography, mainly black-and-white portrait and nude. She makes photos in the classical way, she uses Pentax 6×7 and Canon cameras, she enlarges the photos herself.
